Students can choose a variety of ways to use 'junk' or found items to create an art work. You can work independently or in pairs. Before you begin, please use the following questions to guide you in preparation for your junk art 'journey':
1. What type of Junk Art do you want to create? (mosaic, sculpture, abstract, wall piece etc...)
2. Where did you find your inspiration? (Website)
3. What materials do you need to collect? Where will you find these materials?
4. Draw a sketch of your planned artwork. Include colours, shapes, etc.. and label materials where appropriate.
5. Describe the purpose for your work. In other words, what kind of feeling or thoughts do you want to give to your viewer?
Hand this proposal into me for approval before you begin.
