As I was driving to work today I heard one of the researchers from this project, a professor at the University of Toronto, speak to CBC radio about this amazing biotechnology. Making skin!!! It stood out to me, not just because its so cool, but also because I had a fortunate visit of an old student of mine who told me he wants to eventually work with skin. This bio-engineering is a feat of imagination and determination. The scientists hope to be able to use this technology to help burn victims who have lost large amounts of skin. |

I was looking at the diagram last night and I didn't get what they meant when said hydro gel solution, is it like a acid or a alkali. My second question is what do they mean when they said bilayer.
