Water & Carbon Cycle and Energy Flow
Remember that a cycle is something that continues and goes on and on and on indefinitely. Water, carbon and energy move through our environment constantly enabling life to continue. What is the difference between the water and carbon cycles? In your portfolio, I did write "Energy Cycle" but in my own continuous learning, I found that it makes more sense to call it an energy FLOW. My question to you is: "Why does energy NOT cycle but FLOW through our system????" Watch the videos below to get a better sense.
The Water Cycle
Carbon Cycle
Energy Flow
At about the 2.30 mark, the video gets a bit complicated but watch through it and you will get to the part that explains what the difference is between carbon/water CYCLES and energy FLOW.
